‘A Slice of the Community’ Live Taping w/American Experience preview

Join Nashville PBS host Jerome Moore for a live television taping and broadcast. The event begins with a preview screening of American Coup: Wilmington 1898, an upcoming American Experience documentary about a race massacre and coup d’etat in North Carolina. A Slice of the Community discussion between Moore and panelists follows.

This event is free, but reservations are required. Pizza will be provided by Slim & Husky’s.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the screening begins shortly afterward. The live show taping begins promptly at 8 p.m.

Aging Matters Coffee & Conversations

Join us at 10 a.m. the first Thursday of every month at a FiftyForward center near you!

Each month we’ll screen an Aging Matters documentary at a local FiftyForward center, followed by conversation and light refreshments. 

These events are free, but please RSVP because space is limited.
