‘A Slice of the Community’ Live Taping w/Mayor Freddie O’Connell

Attend a FREE live taping featuring a conversation between Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell and Nashville PBS’ Jerome Moore. The two will discuss O’Connell’s progress and challenges since taking office as well as his strategic vision for Nashville’s development and growth.

Doors open at 7:15; live taping begins promptly at 8 p.m.

Leonardo Youth Maker Mixer

At this event for ages 10 to 18, young people will work to solve a design challenge for a chance to win a prize. There will be short Pecha Kucha presentations from Oasis’ Underground Art Studio, Adventure Science Center, Nashville Ballet, STUDIO NPL, and Oasis Bike Workshop. Clips from LEONARDO DA VINCI, a PBS film premiering this fall, will be shown. This event is part of the Tennessee STEAM Festival. The event is free, but RSVPs are required.

Refreshments will be served. Parking at the museum will be free for attendees.

Volunteer Gardener Homegrown Luncheon 2024

Join the hosts of Volunteer Gardener for a special homegrown luncheon at Green Door Gourmet where this season’s Great American Recipe was recorded! Each month we’ll screen an Aging Matters documentary at a local FiftyForward center, followed by conversation and light refreshments.
